Antique furniture is usually very worn out before a restorer starts doing his job. Most of the parts are loose, misshaped or gone completely. It often happens that the furniture was repaired before and wrong pieces of wood, upholstery or chemicals were used which makes the restoration process long and complicated.

The restoration process usually starts with taking all the pieces apart, following with the enforcement of the construction, restoration of various details including shaving, carving, turnery and other tasks performed by hand, continuing with renovation of color and upholstery and finishing with special touches applicable to a certain period of time or style.

The restoration of antique furniture and sculpture requires high skill and knowledge as well as the patience and love for every unique piece.
